Jarrad-I remember....I remember the first time I met you, I remember everything, meeting you in the woods after school and sitting on that hill near the racetrack, talking for hours. I remember you letting me drive your car, even though just the thought scared you, and I remember arguing with you as to why I loved that car so much, for the fact that it was green, and the color embarrassed you so much.  I remember you wanted a purple ford ranger, I bought you a little purple alien candle, it was the best I could do.  I remember watching Last of the Mohicans for the first time, and being able to sit through Monday night wrestling cause you liked it.    I remember all the times you came and cried in my lap when she did you wrong.  I remember the old woman Mary that was beside your dad's hospital room, how you wanted us to stop toturing ourselves, you couldn't handle seeing us cry, but she was alone and scared, and I know you understood why we stayed with her.  There is so much I remember.  Most of all, I remember, having the phone in my hand not long before it happened, scared to call.  I am sorry that I let you down, I let go of you because I was afraid of you judging me, and now I know, you might have given me a hard time, but you wouldn't have hurt me.  You are to this day, my best friend, and I am sorry I let our frienship drift away.  You were ALWAYS in my heart.  I hated the people who hurt you before, I am sorry if I became one of them.  I wouldn't give away the time I had with you for all the money in the world.  I would give anything to bring you back, anything.  I can't accept it, your life was stolen and I want it back, I carry you with me somehow, wherever I go, you are there in some way.  It's like you linger with me.  I don't understand why a lot of things are the way they are, and I don't understand why I hang onto the impossible, but I will never give up.  I believe each and every person, good or bad,  is in our lives for a reason.  I know you loved me a lot, you never forgot about me,  the same with me.  I know that are hearts were connected,  you were the most special friend I have ever had, a bond in a way I can't explain.  I am so thankful for you.  I will never let go.  Thank you for coming into my life, you have blessed me for a lifetime.

I SAID,  " IT'S SUCH A GREAT LOSS !"

AND GOD SAID, " I SAW MINE NAILED TO A CROSS !"

I SAID, " BUT YOUR LOVED ONE LIVES !"

AND GOD SAID, "  SO DOES  YOURS!"

I SAID, " WHERE IS HE NOW?"

AND GOD SAID," MY SON IS BY MY SIDE

AND YOUR SON IS IN MY ARMS!"

           I KNOW IF YOU COULD HEAR JARRAD HE WOULD TELL YOU BOTH THIS,

 

WHISPERS FROM HEAVEN                           

 

WHEN I LEFT THIS WORLD WITHOUT YOU I KNOW IT MADE YOU BLUE.

YOUR TEARS FELL SO FREELY, I WATCHED: I KNOW THIS IS TRUE.

WHILE YOU WERE WEPPING, DAYS AFTER I PASSED AWAY...WHILE

ALL WAS SILENT WITHIN ME, I SAW YOU KNEEL TO PRAY.

FROM THIS WONDERFUL PLACE CALLED HEAVEN WHERE ALL MY PAIN IS GONE,

I SEND A GENTLE BREEZE TO WHISPER "MY LOVED ONES, PLEASE GO ON".

THE PEACE I HAVE FOUND HERE GOES FAR BEYOND COMPARE, NO

RAIN,NO CLOUDS, NO SUFFERING.....JUST LOVE FROM EVERWHERE.

YOU NEED NOT BE TROUBLED- JUST STAY CLOSE TO GOD IN PRAYER.

SOMEDAY WE'LL BE REUNITED.

YOUR LEAVING LEFT OUR LIVES TORN

WITH A GAPING EMPTY SPACE.
